Nigerian rapper AYANBIYI has released “Don’t Stop,” a motivational hip-hop record that features Los Angeles rapper F.Y.I. on the track. The song pairs the two artists on a record built around a single message of perseverance.
According to the release, AYANBIYI and F.Y.I rap about enduring hard times, dismissing critics and finding purpose through determination. The record frames setbacks as chapters rather than endings. Charles Glenn produced the track.
AYANBIYI is described as a rising Nigerian wordsmith. F.Y.I is a versatile rapper and songwriter from Los Angeles. The collaboration brings two different scenes onto one beat, with each rapper contributing his own cadence.
The song has appeared on the trending list at Xclusiveloaded, an early sign of attention for a hip-hop record in a market where Afrobeats usually leads.
