Nigerian singer boyBlandi has officially released “Collect,” an Afrobeats tune he teased on social media before letting it loose. The record arrives through OceanStreet, Hulivo, and Bridge, and it lands while his two-track project Que Sera Sera/Mercy is still fresh with listeners.
He spent the days before the drop feeding his followers short clips, urging them to stay tuned and pre-save the song. That push worked, because the tune arrived with momentum behind it rather than quietly.
“Collect” also sits inside a busy stretch for the singer, whose early releases include “Lose Myself,” “JEJE,” and “JEJE II” with Ayo Maff. His songwriting leans on Yoruba, Nigerian Pidgin, and English, and he calls his lane “Afro Soothe.”
The new single keeps that melodic approach, riding an upbeat groove fans have already been reacting to online. He is chasing a firmer foothold in the Nigerian scene, and this release fits that plan.
