Neema Gospel Choir returns with “Dhahabu,” a worship record featuring Godliver Godian that arrives with its official video in tow. The Tanzanian gospel release takes its title from the Swahili word for gold, and it builds on the choir’s earlier live worship presentation of the same message.
Songwriting credits go to Joshua Ngowi, Samuel Limbu, and Fredrick Masanja, whose words give the track its devotional focus. Drawing from 1 Peter 1:7, “Dhahabu” compares tested faith to gold passing through fire. Hardship becomes a season of refinement instead of defeat, so believers are encouraged to stay steadfast when circumstances turn difficult.
Godliver Godian adds her vocal presence alongside the choir, strengthening the worship atmosphere throughout. Her voice helps carry the song’s central declaration of becoming better through life’s trials. The studio treatment gives that message a cleaner platform than the live version had.
Fans who followed the live rendition now get to hear how it holds up in recorded form. Is “Dhahabu” by Neema Gospel Choir featuring Godliver Godian already on your playlist? Drop your verdict in the comment section below.
