Ghanaian melody sensation Cojo Rae officially drops his age-defining full-length studio project named “Gen Z Highlife (Album)” for highlife purists and fans. The 14-track body of work lands as West African listeners yearn for entire collections that modernize golden-era Ghanaian rhythms.
Cojo Rae is emerging with full artistic power here, blending classic palm-wine guitar riffs with youthful swagger, street-smart observations, and romantic romance. Underneath the lyrics, the sound architects conjure a bright, mid-tempo environment.
Catchy electric guitars, lively basslines, and snappy percussion shakers carry the project. From viral anthems like “Iskoki” to collaboration songs like Quamina MP, Beeztrap KOTM, and Ypee, the audio engineering is generous in terms of headroom throughout the mix. Those features bring their own weight to the tracklist, while Cojo Rae holds the centre with silky register and effortless breath control. His beautiful Akan phrasing dominates throughout, so his irresistible charm and cultural pride shine through every rhythm.
