South African artist IGqumelasha closes out the Ize Leze project with “Ogabadiya,” a final track built around a shared writing hand. It lands as the eighth song on the album, and it arrives with ukhoz’olumpunga riding alongside on the feature.
The record came out on 14 October 2026 under the ukhoz’olumpunga imprint. Both voices carry the writing here, and the arrangement leans on keyboard work rather than heavy percussion. But the real subject is partnership, because the track treats two perspectives as one narrative instead of a guest spot bolted onto a solo song.
That instinct runs through the whole set. IGqumelasha has kept busy elsewhere too, appearing with Phathizwe Ntuli on “Ngizophumelela” and working the live circuit with Sgwebo Sentambo. So the demand is steady, yet “Ogabadiya” still feels like the most deliberate writing on the album.
Closing a project with a duet says plenty about where the artist wants the sound to go next.
