Immu Jay returns with a brand new record as “Basi Tena” lands, giving listeners another taste of his growing catalogue. The song puts him at the centre, built around a melodic approach and a straightforward vocal delivery.
He carries the record himself, so the vocals do most of the work here. But the arrangement stays lean instead of crowding him out. That space lets the melody breathe, and it lets his voice settle into the song’s character without strain.
“Basi Tena” also adds another entry to his catalogue, so fans following his direction have something new to sit with. The presentation stays focused from start to finish, because nothing gets in the way of the delivery.
What do you make of the vocal on this one? Drop your thoughts in the comment section below.
