Russian alternative hip-hop artist Kai Angel returns with “Leopard Red,” a new track lifted from his coming album, Shh! (Disc 2). The song lands seventh on the fourteen-track project, sitting between “having fun” and “sting.”
The release arrived on Friday, September 11, 2026, although early previews and leaked versions had already spread online before that. Kai Angel, real name Dmitri Itskov, is the sole writer, while Believe handles global distribution.
Sonically, “Leopard Red” keeps his adventurous approach to alternative rap intact. The Viperr movement he built with frequent collaborator 9mice shapes that avant-garde feel.
The wider atmosphere of Shh! (Disc 2) points the same direction. Bold production choices and fast-paced vocal performances drive songs like “STFU!” and “does it hurt?”
So “Leopard Red” suits late-night listening more than a quick scroll. It carries that restless, off-kilter energy his fans already recognise.
