Ghanaian Afrobeats artist AlorG is back with a new record called “Buss Am,” a collaboration with Suono Sai. The track comes as part of his project “First Off I’m Proud Of G,” which arrives as a full body of work. Alodia Kusi-Gyamfi, Stephen Shyam Sundrani, and Rmjthewavedealer all helped pen “Buss Am,” translating the themes of the project into lyrics. AlorG, born Alodia Kusi-Gyamfi, is a 20-year-old Ghanaian artist blending Afrobeats, Hip Hop and Highlife. He works under the Platoon imprint, and his sound has been building steadily across releases like “Tomorrow” and “Chap Chap.” On “Buss Am,” the production leaves room for both voices. Suono Sai pulls a different energy out of the record, so the mood shifts without losing the groove. AlorG keeps his delivery loose, letting the hook breathe instead of crowding it. The song fits the lane of new Afrobeats coming out of Ghana right now, but it carries its own swing. Have you heard “Buss Am” yet? Drop your reaction in the comment section.
