Manifest, the Turkish girl group, is stepping into a new language as “TRALALA” arrives as their very first English-language single. The six-member act has built its name in Turkey, but this release pushes them toward listeners well beyond that market.
“TRALALA” mixes glossy pop with touches of traditional Turkish music. YEEIID directed the video, which was shot on the streets of East London. Alex Graf and Jonah Jurick wrote the song, while Elber Tutkus and Özcan Sayın handled production.
The group consists of Sueda, Mina, Hilal, Esin, Lidya and Zeynep. They previously introduced their sound through the debut album Manifestival. Their fanbase, the Manifam, now has fresh material to follow as the members take on English lyrics.
Vocally, the delivery carries the track. The members trade lines with ease, letting the melody breathe instead of crowding it. Because the production stays bright and uncluttered, every voice gets room to land.
