Tunisian pop singer Mariem Noureddine has joined Hammouda Fallah on a romantic record titled “Khtartek enta ya 3chiri.” The Arabic title, “اخترتك انت يا عشيري,” means “I chose you, my companion,” according to the report.
The two artists have teamed up before on “Dholm Ezzman.” That video already appears on Tunisia’s YouTube trending list, suggesting fans of Tunisian pop wanted this reunion.
The song runs close to four minutes. Tunisian pop leans on bright rhythm and clear melody, and this record follows that path, with percussion keeping a lively pulse while the voices carry the tune.
Noureddine sings with a warm, clear voice and a sweet tone, while Fallah answers with a rich, earthy tone that balances her sweetness. The dialogue between the two voices is described as feeling like a conversation between lovers.
