Tanzanian music star Mbosso has returned with a new Bongo Flava duet, and “Kamata II” brings Harmonize along for the ride. The record lands as a follow-up to his earlier solo hit “Kamata,” with Harmonize stepping in on vocals.
“Kamata II” arrives on October 23, 2026, and both singers trade lines across a sprightly Bongo Flava beat. The sequel builds on the original’s premise, but it pushes the idea further through a joint performance.
The lyrics dig into modern relationships, money and ambition. A Swahili line at the heart of the song, “Kamata pesa kwanza, umaarufu pekee hautoshi,” drives the point home. Basically, chase the money first, because fame alone will not carry you.
Both artists bring distinct vocal styles to the table, and the result carries a light, energetic feel. The message stays relatable too, since it touches on love and ordinary life rather than fantasy.
An official music video also accompanies the song, so fans get the full visual treatment alongside the audio. Have you listened to “Kamata II” yet? Drop your take in the comments below.
