MOJO AF – Run Am

MOJO AF returns with a fresh indigenous rap single titled “Run Am,” built around one line fans already know. The Nigerian rapper, also known as Orisa and the Rap Jesu, teased the track on social media before its release. That preview pushed the lyric “Wetin Pablo no fit do, na Jagaban dey run am” into circulation early, so listeners met the song already humming its hook.

“Run Am” lands as a single, out on October 23, and it follows his 2025 collaboration with YKB, “No Be Kai Kai.” The production keeps things spare and percussion-led, leaving room for the punchline to sit at the centre instead of getting buried under heavy arrangement. Because the beat stays lean, the delivery carries the weight.

MOJO AF has spent years in the alternative and rap space, working with names like Prettyboy D-O, Tim Lyre, and Ronehi. His catalogue includes the “I Know You Miss Me” EP with Ronehi and features on tracks by Ajebutter22 and Mostrap.

Here, he leans into street expression and indigenous rap, letting familiar slang do the heavy lifting. Yet the mood never turns aggressive. It moves like a chant, and the teased line gives the whole record its spine.

What do you make of the production on “Run Am”? Drop your thoughts in the comments.
