South African Lekompo artist Poobington and producer Mangee Beats have joined forces for a new EP called “United States Of Africa.” The six-track project runs about 25 minutes and arrived on October 9, 2026.
Mangee Beats handles the boards throughout, so the production carries the weight here. The lead single, “Africa,” features Bradley Matsoake, and Mpho Gift Makola produced it. Elsewhere, Ch’cco and EeQue join “Mosamaria,” while Blissbouy, BLACKMYTH, and Zee Boii appear on “My Heart.”
Early announcements billed the set as five songs, yet the final cut adds a bonus track called “Lerato Le Paya.” Wiky Neva and BestMind show up on that one. Limp Flow (Pty) Ltd distributes the whole package.
Poobington grew up in Mokopane, Limpopo, and he wears that home base proudly. One song, “Nkiseng Limpopo,” names the province outright and features Wave Rhyder. So the EP’s continental title sits beside very local pride.
