Rema – Oh No

Rema has entered another phase with “Oh No,” a fresh release exploring a Caribbean-inspired sound while staying true to his AfroRave identity.

The record follows his previous release “TEA” and continues the rollout toward his upcoming third studio album, which the singer has already confirmed is completed. Rvssian handles the production, adding an international touch to the release.

Before its arrival, “Oh No” generated significant anticipation after Rema shared snippets across his social media platforms. One teaser showed the artist sitting in a red car as the unreleased song played in the background, giving fans an early taste of its sound.

The new record stands out for its guitar-led production and noticeable Caribbean Konpa influence, which blends naturally with Rema’s Afro-fusion approach. His distinctive vocals and catchy chorus give the song immediate appeal. At the same time, the rhythmic arrangement allows him to explore a slightly different texture without moving too far from his established sound.

The song’s Caribbean influence has also attracted attention outside Nigeria, with Haitian-American rapper Zoey Dollaz previously sharing Rema’s teaser and highlighting the connection to the region’s sound.
