Tanzanian Seventh-day Adventist gospel choir The Light Bearers Tz return with “Tembea Nuruni,” a Swahili call to leave old mistakes behind. The title translates as “Walk in the Light,” and the choir builds the whole record around that idea. Past failures, the song argues, do not have to decide anyone’s future. So it lands as a gentle push for listeners who feel stuck where they are.
Agape Adonias wrote and composed the song, while Fred Kirya serves as music director. JCB Studioz handled both the audio and video production, and Josh, known as Josh Shot It, directed the visuals. That keeps the choir’s own circle in charge of the words, the sound, and the pictures. “Tembea Nuruni” runs about four and a half minutes, with the video premiering on YouTube the same afternoon the single arrived.
The release also follows a steady 2026 run for the Dar es Salaam group. “Itazame Dunia” came in June, then “Tangu Zamani” and “Mwalimu Mwema” followed. That regular pace keeps their audience engaged. But the writing is the real story here. The choir steps out of darkness on “Tembea Nuruni” and asks believers to do the same.
