Zambian act Weamz Zambia has released a new record titled “Live For The Night,” featuring singer Miss Wizzy on the track. The song is built for after-dark energy, according to the release.
Miss Wizzy has been building her name with a mix of Afro-fusion, R&B and dancehall. She has also worked with Zambian names like Dizmo, Vinchenzo M’bale and Triple M.
The beat leans on a smooth night-time groove, with crisp drums, a deep bass and glossy synths. Light dancehall-leaning percussion sneaks in, so the rhythm keeps shifting. The track is described as suiting clubs, car rides and late hangouts.
Weamz Zambia opens with a confident, cool tone and keeps things smooth. Miss Wizzy follows with her soulful voice, adding a softer, melodic angle. The contrast between both voices keeps the record fresh, the release states.
“Live For The Night” is described as a clean party record with a clear mood. Fans of Zambian pop and Afro-fusion will find plenty to enjoy.
