Nigerian singer and songwriter BNXN brings his smooth vocal style to “If You Like,” a contemporary Afrobeats track built on melody. The record leans into a relaxed production, so BNXN has enough room to deliver it his own way.
Rather than crowding the arrangement, “If You Like” lets the vocals and the songwriting carry the song’s central idea. But the groove still moves, and his phrasing stays conversational from start to finish. It is an easy listen, yet it never drifts into background noise.
The single adds another polished entry to BNXN’s growing catalogue. While he keeps exploring different sides of contemporary African pop, his focus stays on melodic songwriting and clean vocal performances. That direction has shaped his sound for a while now.
So “If You Like” fits neatly into the lane he has built for himself. Give it a spin and tell us your honest take in the comments below.
