Coconut Rootz is continuing a busy stretch in their catalogue as the group drops the self-titled album “Coconut Rootz (Album).”
The record arrived on April 3, 2026, and carries 17 songs in total. “Too Much” came out on March 30, 2026, as part of the project, issued through Deep Sound Studio. The tracklist runs from “Can I Keep You” and “What Makes Us Shine” to “Take Me As Iam” and “Where My Heart Is.”
The group comes out of Malawi’s reggae scene. Their recent run also includes the EPs “Sweet Love,” “My Everything,” and “You Will Never Know,” so this album lands in a productive season rather than a quiet one.
Fans of island reggae and soul have plenty to work through here. The 17-song length gives the group room to stretch out, but the material stays warm and melody-first. It fits neatly beside the EPs that came before it.
