Exotiq Fiive02 returns with “Untamed,” a seven-minute Afro House single that rewards patient listeners who stick with its slow build. The South African singer-songwriter first shared the track on its own, then placed it as track seven on his album “HEALED.” Its runtime sits at seven minutes and 36 seconds, so the groove unfolds gradually instead of rushing toward a quick hook.
That patience suits deep and Afro House, where mood carries as much weight as melody. Fans who followed his 2026 run, including “Pure Intentions,” “MAYE MAYE,” “Ngiyabonga Nkosi,” and the five-track “DREAM EP,” knew a longer record was possible. He also works in smoother and tribal territory, as heard on “The Roots (Tribal House)” and “Trip To Moletjie 2.0 (Smooth Touch).”
His back catalogue already travels far. “Lovely” passed 265,000 Spotify plays, while its remix cleared 526,000 YouTube views. His “ULELE” remix also crossed 300,000. That reach gives “Untamed” a built-in audience among South African house fans.
So does the single meet expectations? The loose, unhurried feel matches the title, and early write-ups call it a refreshing vibe. Have you played “Untamed” yet? Drop your thoughts in the comments below.
