Gasmilla returns with “Abaa Yenii,” a new rhythm-rich track from the Ghanaian Azonto pioneer and recording artiste.
The street anthem arrives at the right moment, because West African street-pop fans and club ravers want bright, body-moving choruses. Gasmilla hits that sweet spot here. The song is built to take over car stereos, neighborhood blocks and weekend party rotations from the jump.
He is revered across the continent for his role in establishing the Azonto movement. He also delivered the classic neighborhood smash “International Fisherman.” That history gives “Abaa Yenii” real weight, so the record lands with a familiar coastal bounce behind it.
