South African gospel collective Spirit Of Praise keeps its classic worship sound alive as the group unwraps “Ivangeli Classic.” The song lands as part of the Spirit Of Praise 12 rollout, but it also carries the old-school gospel feel the group has built over the years. Four voices from the same family share one arrangement here. Omega Khunou, Sindi Ntombela, Mpumi Mtsweni, and Dumi Mkokstad each bring their own texture, so the blend never feels like a random feature grab. Instead, it plays like a proper gathering of heavyweights. The timing also fits the wider album campaign, because Spirit Of Praise 12 is still in the works with singles rolling out steadily. “Mmeli Wami” and “Size Kuwe” are set for the 13th of November 2026, so “Ivangeli Classic” keeps listeners close before the full body of work arrives. What stands out is the live worship energy, since the group has spent years touring and recording with a rotating cast of gospel ministers. That experience shows in how smoothly these four artists blend. It sounds like a Sunday service moment, not a sterile studio cut.
