South African Maskandi artist Igeza Lakwamgube is back with “Ilunda lami,” a new single featuring Thembani from his album One More Time.
The song arrived on October 6, 2026, and it sits at number eight on the project’s running order. It lands right after “Ucheme nosathane” and before “Awuqhathwanga,” so it holds the middle of the album together.
The album came through IGEZA LAKWAMGUBE MUSIC PRODUCTION. Fans of traditional Zulu music have waited to see whether the Maskandi sound he built his name on would carry through a full project, and “Ilunda lami” answers that with storytelling and soulful melodies. The title translates from isiZulu, although specific lyric details remain scarce.
Tracks like “Uvele angafi” and “Ubunkunzi bami” round out the record, so there is plenty to dig into beyond this cut.
