French electronic duo Justice return with a bold new single built for a gaming empire, as “Flower In A Hurricane” lands with weight. The track features Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, and it landed beside the Grand Theft Auto VI launch trailer.
Justice composed the entire original score for the game, so this single offers the first proper listen to that work. Kevin Parker handles guitar here, while he and SZA trade lines before folding into harmony. Swirling synths drive the arrangement, yet crunchy guitar keeps the edges sharp.
One riff has already sparked comparisons to Dire Straits’ “Money for Nothing,” and fans are debating that online. The track also sits on “Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album,” which carries 34 original songs. Keith Richards, Cardi B, and Travis Scott appear among the announced names.
Justice, made up of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay, have long been known for their heavy electronic style. The duo previously won a Grammy with Parker for “Neverender.”
