Nigerian musician Kolaboy drops “Okpoko,” a track sitting tenth on his thirteen-song project Nwa Nwanyi Deeper Life (NND), which is out now.
The song arrives as part of a body of work Kolaboy built to play as one continuous piece. “Okpoko” lands late in the sequence, and that placement helps carry the album’s story forward instead of letting it stall. It is a project-first release, so the record leans on flow rather than a scattered run of singles.
Kolaboy is a Nigerian musician, and “Okpoko” carries the sound listeners have come to expect from him. The album holds thirteen tracks in total, and the back half is where the sequencing does its heaviest lifting. So the question is whether the wait for this one pays off.
