South African musician Maqhinga Hadebe links up with LIMIT NALA for “Khethile Khethile,” the second single off his thirteen-track project. The song sits early in the tracklist, so it carries weight in setting the tone for the whole body of work. LIMIT NALA adds a textural layer that supports Hadebe’s primary artistry, yet the record keeps its precise, editorial feel. It forms part of the greater themes running through the “Woza 2030” album.
Being second in line means the track has to hold attention fast, and the pairing gives it a more distinct character than a solo cut might. Hadebe has described the project as ambitious, and this single reflects a more polished sound alongside a collaborative mentality.
So where does that leave the listener? “Khethile Khethile” works as an entry point into the wider “Woza 2030” story, while also standing as its own compact statement. The writing stays focused rather than crowded, because the featured voice complements instead of competing.
