Tanzanian gospel collective Neema Gospel Choir has returned with “Usifiwe,” a new live worship recording that premiered this month for their fans. The nearly 10-minute ministration arrives as an extended performance rather than a quick single, so fans get the full choral experience they wait for.
Glory Bupe leads the delivery, while Godwin Mlambo composed the song. Victorious Production handled production management, and the JTL horns add another layer to the arrangement. The choir built “Usifiwe” around rich harmonies and live instrumentation, which suits a worship setting of this length.
The release also ties back to the group’s earlier catalog. A studio version titled “Usifiwe Mungu” appeared on their 2022 album “Nikubali Yesu.” This live rendition gives that message a broader stage, and the choir carries it with greater depth than the studio cut allowed.
Lyrically, the performance speaks to believers facing challenges, periods of waiting, and moments of testimony. It urges them to keep praising God through all of it. That focus stays consistent from the opening bars to the closing notes.
