Neema Gospel Choir – Lango // LIVE IN ARUSHA (Music Video)

Tanzanian choir Neema Gospel Choir revives its Swahili anthem “Lango” with a live recording captured in Arusha during a worship gathering. The live version of “Lango” landed on September 26, 2026, and runs about nine minutes and 21 seconds. The choir recorded it in Arusha at TAG Calvary Temple during “Worship in Spirit (Occupy)”. An earlier studio cut came out on July 28 and ran shorter, at roughly eight and a half minutes. That gap says plenty about what a room full of worshippers adds.

“Lango” means “gate” or “door” in Swahili, so the song carries its message in the language itself. Call-and-response chants drive the performance, while traditional Tanzanian choir style meets modern gospel instruments. Driving percussion, bright keyboards, brass accents, and layered harmonies fill out the sound. Fredrick Japhet Kilago composed the song and plays the piano, with Victorious Production backing the project.

The video has already reached YouTube’s trending lists in Tanzania and Kenya, so the message crossed the border without much pushing. Fans of the studio version now get the full congregational build.
