The choir recorded the song as a live worship moment, and it now stands as its own EP release. Biggy Ronny, the group leader, composed the track, while Fredrick Japhet Kilago, known as Masanja, handled the audio for Victorious Production. Because the setting is live, the sound feels open and full.
Neema Gospel Choir sings from Dar es Salaam, and its members come from the Africa Inland Church Tanzania. The group has built a following across East Africa with Swahili praise records, and “Nakutegemea Bwana” fits that tradition. Its message leans on Psalm 121, so the focus stays on trust in hard times.
