South Korean DJ and producer Peggy Gou links up with Afrobeats star Ayra Starr on a hypnotic new record titled “Wo,man.”

This isn’t their first time crossing paths either. Gou previously remixed Starr’s “Where Do We Go” earlier this year, so “Wo,man” marks their first original collaboration together rather than a one-off feature.

Built on a hypnotic ’90s house groove, the track leans into playful, nonsensical hooks that stick fast on first listen. Gou described bringing their two worlds together as completely natural, and that chemistry comes through clearly across the record.

Starr brings genuine swagger to her verses here, balancing confidence with the kind of summer energy Gou was specifically chasing while building the instrumental. Neither artist tries to outshine the other, and that restraint keeps the collaboration feeling effortless.

The accompanying video, directed by Onda, leans hard into late ’90s and early 2000s nostalgia, complete with playful paper-cut visuals reminiscent of old Steve Madden ad campaigns.

Stream “Wo,man” now and catch the visuals while you’re at it — this one’s built for the full summer rotation.
