Phyno – Ndu Ka Aku Ft. Seyi Vibez

Nigerian rapper Phyno and street-pop singer Seyi Vibez open their album with “Ndu Ka Aku,” a title translating from Igbo as life is greater than wealth. The song runs as the first of fifteen tracks on the album *Let That Sink In*. Benjamz handled the production, building a choral-style backdrop underneath the verses.

The song’s argument stays simple. Both artists treat life as the thing worth protecting, even while chasing money. Seyi Vibez sings about music working like medicine, about nights spent praying for a breakthrough. Phyno asks God to extend a hand to anyone with nothing in theirs. The chorus repeats “brother do the maths,” and the math is plain: no amount of wealth is worth more than being alive to chase it.

What gives “Ndu Ka Aku” its texture is the language switch. Phyno moves through Igbo and English, while Seyi Vibez slides in with Yoruba cadence, and neither shift feels forced. The two have worked together before, on Seyi Vibez’s “Highlife Interlude” from 2023, so the chemistry here reads as continuation rather than a first meeting.
