Zambian singer Prince Luv and Malawian star Driemo reunite on “On My Way,” a romantic Afro-pop single built on soft African percussion. The record keeps a warm, love-focused mood from start to finish, and it never rushes at just over three minutes.
Prince Luvila and Shafie Sharif Phiri wrote and composed “On My Way,” while Prince Luv Entertainment released it. Africori handles distribution, which should push the song past Zambia and Malawi. Streaming platforms tag it as Afro-Beat, so the groove stays lively even while the lyrics remain tender.
The two artists worked together before on “Pali Iwe,” a 2023 song from Prince Luv’s “Melodies” album. That earlier link makes this new record a natural follow-up, and the cross-border connection between Zambia and Malawi holds firm. Early write-ups point to smooth vocal harmonies riding over the percussion.
Driemo has become a familiar guest in the Zambian scene, and he also appears on Boy Kay’s “Be Mine.” Prince Luv, meanwhile, has built a wide network of collaborators, including Yo Maps, Dizmo, Drifta Trek, T-Sean, and Chile One Mr Zambia. “On My Way” keeps that network growing.
