Street-minded act Season 25 has released a gritty new record titled “Shotta’s,” a song built on attitude and dark beat.
The title points straight at the shotta lifestyle, a word that started in Jamaican street talk and now travels worldwide. According to the source, the name already sets the tone for the record.
The beat runs dark and punchy, with hard drums and a creeping bassline. Space between the hits keeps things tense, giving the vocals room to land, and even the hi-hats stay sparse.
Season 25 rides the beat with a flat, steady tone and short punchy lines. The delivery stays cold, though a few lines break into a catchy refrain. Bars arrive fast, and the pauses do half the work.
The lyrics speak on loyalty, hustle and watching your back. Since street code is the theme, the writing stays direct and plain, with little decoration. Listeners who like raw storytelling will follow it easily.
The mood stays dark and focused, yet the chorus keeps it easy to remember. Some fans will want more variety, though the lane suits the title.
