Kings Mumbi Malembe – Umwebe

Zambian gospel artist Kings Mumbi Malembe is back with “Umwebe,” a Bemba worship song urging listeners to take burdens to God. The Bemba title means “Tell Him” or “Declare to Him,” and the entire song follows that instruction. Life can feel heavy, but the message here insists prayer still works. Kings Mumbi Malembe points to God as the owner of silver and gold. So money worries, hard seasons, and daily needs belong in prayer instead of despair. That plain, direct approach gives “Umwebe” a gentle and comforting tone. Patrick Kilima handled the audio production, while the sound keeps a warm worship atmosphere. The official video, directed by Tim K., was filmed at the Grand Savoy Hotel in Ndola. That setting gives the clip a clean, polished look. Kings, also known as Kings MM Mumbi, asked fans to share the song and spread its message worldwide, and several Zambian blogs picked up the video within days. He has built a steady gospel catalogue too. “Hosanna” featured Emmanuel HMB and Mirriam, and “Mweba Maka” brought in Rebecca. “Enough Is Enough” and the “Lesa Wilala” series with several guests also helped him grow an audience. For Zambian listeners who want worship music in Bemba, “Umwebe” offers a calm and honest way to start or end the day. It suits anyone feeling the pressure of bills or uncertainty as well.
