Kenyan recording artist Masauti gives his earlier single “Ipepete” a fresh remix featuring Iyanii, built for the dance floor. This is not a brand-new song, but the rework still lands like an event.
Motif handled production on “Ipepete (Remix)” and the arrangement moves at 103 beats per minute, running three minutes and forty-six seconds. That is a comfortable pace for dancing, so the groove never rushes itself. A visualizer directed by Marc Creations accompanies the release.
Iyanii adds energetic verses, while Masauti’s smooth, high-pitched vocals sit on the other side of the mix. The contrast is easy to hear. The mood stays festive and rooted in Swahili club culture.
Masauti is a Kenyan coastal star also known for “Kiboko” and “Sokote,” and he leans on melody and playful Swahili lines. Iyanii is a familiar voice in Kenyan pop and Bongo-leaning circles. The “Ipepete” song has already been remixed more than once, with versions featuring Muva and Amoxco also in circulation, so each guest brings something different to the same dance-friendly base.
