Tanzanian artists Zedrim and Geniusjini x66 have joined forces for a new Bongo Flava single titled “ZAWADI.”
The Swahili word “Zawadi” means “Gift,” and that idea carries the record. Zedrim leads the release while Geniusjini x66 adds his own voice to the mix. The collaboration brings two Tanzanian acts onto one track.
Geniusjini x66 is known for records like “Far Away” and “Wewe” featuring Jay Melody. So his presence on “ZAWADI” adds weight to the single. Zedrim, meanwhile, has been building momentum through joint tracks with Dullax.
That includes charting releases like “Naota” and other collaborations between them. Because of that run, his demand is rising. The pairing on “ZAWADI” fits that upward movement.
Both artists trade melodic lines across the song, yet neither one rushes the delivery. The result leans on warmth rather than force. It gives listeners something easy to sit with.
