DJ Landlord drops his “Best Of Asake 2026 Mixtape,” a 1-hour-15-minute continuous mix dedicated to the catalogue of the Afrobeats star.
The tape arrived in May 2026, right after Asake released his fourth album M$NEY, so the timing gives listeners a fresh way to revisit that project alongside older favorites. It pulls heavily from M$NEY, which landed on May 1, 2026, with thirteen tracks. That album opened with a live choral piece and moved through orchestral strings, jazz touches, and Amapiano rhythms, so DJ Landlord had plenty of textured material to work with.
Tracks like “Gratitude,” “Rora,” “Amen,” and “Forgiveness” sit alongside the DJ Snake collaboration “Worship” and the Kabza De Small link-up “Asambe.” But the tape also reaches back to earlier hits, which keeps the mix from feeling like a straight album replay.
DJ Landlord built his reputation on smooth transitions and crowd-ready pacing, and that skill shows here. He does not just stack songs back to back. Instead, the mix moves through Asake’s Fuji-infused street flows and contemporary dance beats without losing momentum. The result works for both casual listeners catching up on the catalogue and longtime fans who want a curated run through his growth.
