Nigerian Afrobeats singer Promphizy is praying for brighter days on “Good Times,” a warm new single for anyone grinding. The record lands under the OKOLA MX label, with production handled by Joe9ice and the mix and master credited to Pomack Dennis.
A release date of October 14, 2026 puts “Good Times” on the calendar, and fans can already pre-save it ahead of the drop. It follows “Lagos Story / IG Girls,” his July project, which carried a DJ Power collaboration. While those tracks leaned into Lagos street stories, this one trades the city hustle for hope.
Promphizy, born Joel Pomack Dennis and also known as Yung Skizzy, has moved between Afrobeats and Afrosounds since “Loyal” got him noticed in 2023. He also featured on “Muje” with Jesse Kallamu, so working alongside other voices comes naturally to him.
“Good Times” keeps things light and melodic, with writing that turns everyday pressure into something singable. He has not shared a line-by-line breakdown, yet the title says plenty on its own.
